Andreas Spiegl / Theory

*1964, studied History of Arts at the Universtiy of Vienna and has been teaching since at the Institute for Arts- and Cultural Sciences at the Academy of Visual Arts in Vienna 1990, where he has been Vice-Director for Teaching and Research since 2003. His work focusses on the connection of theories of space and subject- and media theories. Numerous publications about art, theory of art, and media theory. Beside that, he is working as a freelance curator and arts critic.
