DESIGN AND PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

1983-1984 Works as fashion designer and T-Shirt painter in New York City
1984-1985 Establishes herself as fashion designer in Graz, Austria, first shows and performances, continual design, production, presentation, and distribution of collections ever since.
1986-1988 Extends her activities to Berlin, participation in avantgarde fashion fairs in Berlin, Munich, Vienna.
1988-1991 Moves to Berlin, shares studio with Berlin-based milliner Fiona Bennett; establishes her label "Lisa D." in the Berlin fashion scene; various exhibitions, shows and performances with Fiona Bennett and others.
1991-1995 Moves her studio to East Berlin, continued cooperation with Fiona Bennett; extended performance and show activities.
since 1995 Opens her own "Lisa D | Shop" at Hackesche Höfe, Berlin, where she later also establishes her studio and workshop. Focuses on the development and growth of her women's fashion label "Lisa D", moving towards sophisticated street and professional women's wear. Conceives and designs for various shows and performances in co-operation with contemporary composers, artists and other fashion designers, increasingly made on commission by the theatre, music and art world.
2004 Launches the ironically benevolent high-fashion label "Global Concern" in a joint venture with the Berlin new music collective zeitkratzer. www.global-concern.org
2005-2006 Opens and closes a "Lisa D | Shop" in Vienna.
2006 Launches the subversive label project BOAT PEOPLETM. www.boatpeople.at
